Stella Maris Enríquez and María Núñez, from the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, sailed intrepably on the second and final day of the 30th Ria de Vigo Trophy to turn the classification and debit the leaders of Saturday, also the Viguesas Adriana and Helena Pérez-Canal, in class 420, the only one who managed to regatta on a Sunday without wind.

With the fleet in the water for hours, disappointment was important because of the inability to compete. In fact, shortly before two in the afternoon, Tone Pérez and Paloma González (RCN Vigo), leaders of the Vaien class, decided to return to the ground. The Regatas Committee, hopefully, would get a way out and that would be the discard of the Viguese pattern, the current champion of Spain. Minutes later the rest of the fleet followed him. Impossible to mount a single test.

The lucky ones were the 420. By nine in the morning they were already in the water and they managed to finish three sleeves. Stella and Maria, who in December won the Halloween Race of Palamós, signed three first posts for a 5-point net score, when the discard entered (2- [4] -1-1). The Pérez-Canal, with two first on Saturday, were not able to keep up (1- [4] -3-3, 8 points). The best in sub-17 category, Pablo Rodríguez (RCN Rodeira) and Pablo Llorens (RCN Coruña), third of the general.

With Snipe and Optimist also without haggling, Patricio de Haz and Guillermo Rey rose with the victory in Snipe, while Aitana Pérez (MRCY Baiona) won in the general of Optimist (and in the sub-16 classification) with a disputed race; Laura Pérez (Maritimo de Canido) was the champion in sub-13.
