The clubs will be in charge of celebrating, during the course of this season, an event in their facilities to deliver to their regatists the different awards of the Festa de la Vela Catalana

In just over a week, on February 24 at 20h, the Federació Catalana de Vela will celebrate, virtual through its social networks, a new edition of the Festa de la Vela Catalana. In this event, the great task of the Catalan clubs, the successes of the whole of the Catalan Sailing, and the best sailors of 2021 will be discovered.

As every year, the championships of Catalonia and Spain and the European and world pods that the regatists have achieved during this season will be awarded. The different platinum, gold, silver and bronze candles will also be released to the clubs for their great work; the task of all those who have highlighted for their activities in favor of the sailing sport will be recognized; and, as a colophone, a prize will be presented to the best sailors of the year in the male and female category, which will be decided by popular vote by the clubs, professionals and sportsmen of the Catalan Sailing.

The nominees and nominees for Millor Navigant of 2021 are: Cristina Pujol (Club Níutic Port d'Aro), Mariona Ventura (Club Níutic Masnou) and Mar Vilardell (Club Níutic Sitges); and Jordi Xammar (Club Níutic Garraf), Pau Schilt (Club Níutic Garraf) and Ruben Booth (Club Níutic Costa Brava & Club Vela Palamós).
