The classes Europe, Flying Dutchman and 420 close the VII CV Olympic Week

The Olympic Week of the Valencian Sail comes to an end after two weeks of competition and 9 national and autonomous titles
The VII Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week has been concluded today, after two weeks of championship. This international race has managed to bring together over 600 light sailing regatists who, coming from 11 different countries, have been competing in 22 different classes.
The competition, which has been developed simultaneously between the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja, the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante and the Real Club Náutico de Valencia has not only left complete the palmarés of this VII Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week, but has also defined the podium of national and autonomous cups for 9 of these classes.
The final brooch has been put today by the 420 who have been sailing in the Real Regatas Club of Alicante, and the fleets of Europe and Flying Dutchamn who have done so in the Real Nautical Club of Torrevieja. It has been in this last championship event that we have named the national medalist of the Spanish Cup of Europe and the first scores of the 420 Autonomous Cup of the FVCV have been defined.
The Flying Dutchman fleet and the more than half a hundred monotypes we found participating in the Europe class have resolved, after three fighting days of competition, the final medallion.
Six knots of 155 and the characteristic sun of the Valencian coast have favored an idyllic day for the regatists to add three new tests in the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja by closing the championship with nine partials.
In Europe, each test has been decisive. The first three positions varied as the day between Ignacio Toronjo (Real Club Marítimo and Tennis de Punta Umbria), Alejandro Pareja (RCN Torrevieja) and Pau Schilt (CN Garraf) advanced. To the last test of the day they were almost tied to points and finally the last test has been conclusive for Alejandro Pareja to have left the Spanish Cup at the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja to proclaim himself champion of this national title and of the VII CV Olympic Week.
It was the performance of the Inés Alcáiz Torreviejense who took the female gold and finished fifth in the general.
The one we've been living in the Flying Dutchman classification. If Marco and Roberto Sevila (CN Altea) were to finish the day in first position yesterday, today the local tandem formed by Francisco José Martínez and José Luís Ruiz have marked two first and have risen directly to the top of the general showing because they are the current champions of the Cup of Europe and Spain of the class.
In the middle of the day, the wind has begun to blow more strongly in the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante and Comité has soon sent the young people to water to complete three new tests and thus be able to close the VII Comunitat Valencia Olympic Week with six contested partials that have been punctuable for the Autonomous Cup of the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana.
The duo that make up those of the Nautical Club of Altea, Lucy Crosbie and Arantza Reig have again ratified their power in the race field and again took two of the three partials in the pocket. This added to the applied discards, causes the women to finish the undefeated championship by taking the gold of the class in the VII Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week.
In the male classification it was the binomial formed by Ángel Poveda and Joel Ferrer who have risen to the top of the general.
2022-02-12: Turn for the 420, Europe and FD in the VII Valencian Community Olympic Week

This second week of race are decided the winners of the Spanish Cup of Europe and Flying Dutchman and the autonomous leaders of the 420 Cup of the FVCV
The VII Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week has today started its second and last weekend of competition that is held between the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante and the Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja. Maintaining its multi-headquarters format, the Europe and Flying Dutcham classes in the Torreviejense club and the pre-Olympic class 420 in the Alicantine Bay have competed simultaneously.
The three classes, which are coming together these days, in addition to competing for the trophy of the Valencian Olympic Week, have at stake national and autonomous titles since, on the one hand, the fleet of Europe and Flying Dutchamn is fighting for the Spanish Cup and the 420 youth are looking to get good results as they are scoring for the 2022 Autonomous Cup of the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana.
The forecasts at the Royal Nautical Club in Torrevieja were good and the part throughout the morning has not failed. A 300-inch wind, ranging from 6-8 knots in the race area, has allowed Committee to give a timely exit in the Torreviejense bay to the Europe and Flying Dutchman classes.
Under these conditions, the regatists of both light sailing modes have been able to perform three more partial, completing the planned program, and closing the day with a total of six disputed tests. Six tests that have done nothing but ratify the high level of the fleet that comes tomorrow, on its third and last day, with very tight classifications and the national medallion to decide.
At Flying Dutchman, with just one point between the first four crews, nothing can be predicted. By leading the classification we find Roberto and Marco Sevila (CN Altea) who have managed to get to the first place thanks to the fifth partial of the day. But on their heels we find Francisco José Martínez and José Luís Ruiz (RCN Torrevieja) current champions of the European Cup and the Spanish Cup of Flying Dutchman and they are located in second position only one point from gold.
In Europe, the first posts have been between Ignacio Toronjo (Real Club Marítimo and Tennis de Punta Umbria), Pau Schilt (CN Garraf) and Alejandro Pareja (RCN Torrevieja) until the results of the sixth and last test of the day have been conclusive for the Catalan to finish the day with the general's mandate. Among the women is the local Inés Alcáñíz (RCN Torrevieja) which, after sentencing and winning the last test of the day, is placed fourth in the absolute general classification.
The wind has been made to beg in the Real Regatas Club of Alicante, but finally, well entrances the 1300h have raised 5 knots in the bay of Alicante allowing that Committee will take the fleet to the sea.
The intensity of the wind has been maintained and the 420 have been able to perform three sleeves by completing the program and thus opening their participation in the VII Valencian Community Olympic Week. The results of the class in favor of the female tandem that make up Lucy Crosbie and Arantza Reig have been conclusive. The Nautical Club of Jávea has sentenced two of the three trials that have been disputed and so they are the leaders of the general signing a magnificent performance in today's day.
In the back, we found his fellow club Ángel Poveda and Joel Ferrer who have taken the position from the Campos@-@ Moreno binomial in the last test of the day. With only two points of difference the Nautical Club of Jávea close the second day in the general and first in male classification.
