The Olympic Week of the Valencian candle closes its first weekend of race with 19 classes in competition

The seventh edition of the great event Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week has concluded today with its first weekend of competition. Four days in which 19 light sailing modes have competed... with 600 regatists from 11 countries, organized by the Real Club Nautico de Valencia, the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante and the Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja.

The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante has managed to save the day with one test for the Raceboard and another for the modalities of BIC-Techno 293, except the sub13, despite wind problems.

Carlos Marí, of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, has not been disappointed and has been imposed on BIC-Techno 293... while in the White Briganty girls of the Royal Nautical Club of Gran Canaria, he has taken the victory.

In category sub17 the winner has been Arturo Arauz (CNPS), and among the women the best has been the Andalusian Blanca Cueto. Among the sub15 Andrea Martínez (CRM) won... while in sub13 the Club de Surf Formentera has joined the National Championship by Isaac Scandinell and Gala Fornes.

White day for the IQFoil... in sub19 the gold for Ignacio Baltasar (CN Ràpita) and Julia Gómez (CN Balís).. and in sub17 were the baleares Nicolás Madero (CMSAP - C'an Pascilla) and Caterina Tomás (CN s'Arenal).

Of the 8 tests that have completed the Raceboard, four of them have been attacked by Humberto Martínez (RCRC)... and with this victory.

In ILCA 4, in Torrevieja, the Valencian Adriana Castro de Torrevieja was the one who took the female gold... Antonio Ramón - Borja (RCRA) won among the boys, while in ILCA6 the best era of the Roca Ascension of Torrevieja and in the male category has gone to Poland by Filip Olszewski while the first autonomic has been Mariano Cebrián of the CN Benidorm.

Nine total tests have left us as the winner of ILCA 7 the Argentine Agustín Vidal who has been dominating the championship since the beginning of the championship. The constancy has been his great ally and thus closes a great championship. As for the Autonomical Cup, which he also pointed out for this class, Marcos Altarribia (RCNV) has set up as a leader in this medallion of the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana.

But the modalities of ILCA are not the only classes that say goodbye to this seventh edition with a great taste of mouth as together with them have been the Radiopodo that close the championship with 13 tests behind their back. Ginés Romero (RCNT), who was finishing yesterday the leading day, has been able to maintain this first position today and has proclaimed himself the class's winner.

The 29er pre-Olympic class today jumped to the sea at the Royal Nautical Club in Valencia with the national title to be decided. The wind was loose but it has finally been enough to give two more tests to the class. Two partials who have only reaffirmed the dominion of the sisters of the Royal Nautical Club of Gran Canaria, Paula and Isabel Laiseca. Two new victories on this last day have been proclaimed victors of the race and the 29er Spanish Cup. In the male category, it was the world champions and also the brothers Mateo and Simon Codoñer who left the national title at the Royal Nautical Club in Valencia.

With five tests it has also closed the CV Olympic Week the Finn class in which Miguel Fernández of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña has joined the race... after four partials the local Rafael Gómez has done the same in the classification of the Class A.

In the Valencian race field we could also find three more ways of double light sailing. On the one hand, there were the Hobie16 where the tandem formed by Juan Antonio Llabres and Tono Llabres has been broken. On the other hand, the F18 where the Argentine flag couple formed by Jaime Araujo and Lucas González took the championship. And finally, the Snipe class in which the binomial which make up the Víctor Pérez and Enric Noguera baleares has risen to the top of the medallion.

The title of the Finn class travels to La Coruña by Miguel Fernández Vasco
The absolute domain of the Galician Miguel Fernández Vasco (RCN La Coruña) in the Finn class. To the good partials of last Friday the first two are added today. On the back and with 4 points of difference Fernando Ros (RCR Cartagena) has been placed followed by Paco Castañer (CN Llanfranc) totaling 13 points.

And the last class that has premiered today at this headquarters has been the Slayer to Vela where Vicente Pastor of Marina Valencia Sailing Club has hung the gold medal.

In the waters of the Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja and those of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, the classes in competition have been able to add tests in the seventh edition of the Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week. Most unfortunate has been the day at the Real Club Nautico in Valencia where the low intensity of the wind has left the classes without competition.

Divided in three clubs, it shows the multi-headquarters format of the event, the regatists have jumped to the sea not only to contest the title of the Valencian Olympic week but also to strengthen positions in the different national championships and cups at stake, as well as autonomics of the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana.

The modalities of BIC-Techno 293, Raceboard and IQFoil started their third day of race with a wind that was made to beg. But the wait has been worth it and finally the intensity of it has increased enough for the Committee to have been able to give out all classes.

This has not only led to the IQFoil having premiered in the race field, but also all classes have been able to recover evidence after yesterday's blank day.

The IQFoil, which are playing the Spanish Championship these days, have performed two slaloms tests and two course racing tests that place Nicolás Madero (CMSAP - C'an Pascilla) provisional leader in sub17 with the four partials awarded and Ignacio Baltasar (CN Ràpita) as a favorite clear to the national title in the absence of a day in sub19.

The Techno 293 fleet, which is also fighting for the national medallion this Olympic week, will reach the last of the competition with very tight classifications. In Techno Plus lidera Adrián López (CNCB), in sub17 it remains in the head Antonio Arauz (CN Puerto Sherry), tie in the head of sub15 with Gonzalo Díaz (CN Sevilla) and Andrea Martínez (C.R Madrid) and in sub13 it dominates Isaac Scandinell (CS Formentera).

And the Raceboard already add six tests in the global computation of the race where Humberto Martínez (RCR Cartagena) leads the general.

New tests, new results and new leaders at the Royal Nautical Club in Torrevieja. In ILCA 7 the Argentine Agustín Vidal has climbed positions to the top of the general tied to points with Ricard Castellvi (CN Cambrils). In ILCA 6, the constancy in the five disputed tests has served Mariano Cebrián (CN Benidorm) to be tied to a first position. And Juan Santos (CN Altea) has been the most successful regatist in class ILCA 4. Three seconds in the four completed partials have made the altea one have written his name on the class's head.

But the Torreviejense club has also today hosted the almost 30 registered Vela Radio Control. During the day, the local Ginés Romero (RCNT), with 9 points, completed the leading day followed by his club partner Guillermo Beltri, who closed the day with 15p.

Seven classes have met today at the Royal Nautical Club in Valencia. The Finn, the 29th and the Class A, who had their opening day yesterday, have joined the Snipe, the Hobie16, the F18 and the Sailing Skate.

And although everything was ready for the seven classes to jump into the sea, the wind didn't want to appear. With the crews on the ground, Committee has waited until the last minute in the hope of establishing some evidence, but has finally been forced to move up and leave the day to zero.

Without new results, the sisters Paula and Isabel Laiseca, of the Real Club de Regata de Gran Canaria, are still the great candidates for the national title at stake of 29er. In the Finn fleet, Miguel Fernández of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña will have to defend tomorrow the leadership of the Olympic week and that of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, Abdon Ibáñez remains the leader in Class A.

The VII Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week has given the initial horn to 12 of the 22 classes we found in competition. The wind has finally allowed for exits in the regatta fields of the Real Club Nautico de Valencia and the Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja. It has not been the same fate at the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, where committee has been forced to go up on land.

A just but sufficient wind to get out at the Royal Nautical Club in Torrevieja has been allowed to save the day. Of a southern component and reaching 5 knots of intensity, it has finally given truce so that classes ILCA 7 and 6 have been able to complete a test.

It was the Royal Regatta Club of Alicante Tadeo Samordny who led this test and led the provisional classification of the class with over 40 participants. In ILCA 7 is Adolfo Virgili of the Real Club de Regatas Santiago de la Ribera who is in charge of the general.

Without competition the ILCA has been left to wait for the wind to accompany you tomorrow so that they can be premiered in the Valencian Olympic Week.

The Real Nautical Club in Valencia has seen the faces of Class A, the Finn and the 29th being proof of the Spanish Cup for this pre-Olympic class

All three classes have jumped to sea in compliance with the planned programme. The north-east wind that has reached 9 knots has made the delights for the fleet of the preOlympic class 29er. Three completed sleeves have left the sisters Paula and Isabel Laiseca, from the Royal Regata Club of Gran Canaria, at the head of the classification.

It was Miguel Fernández of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña who went up to the top of the Finn class provisional after two of the three parties were awarded. And the two Class A sleeves have left the local Abdon Ibajez provisional leader.

The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante that has hosted in its bay the modalities of BIC-Techno 293, Raceboard and IQFoil being the Spanish Championship for Techno 293 and IQ Juvenil has closed without evidence this day which for them is the second.
