Port Ginesta is currently the largest marina in the country. It has more than 1,400 moorings and 120 commercial and industrial premises and generates 1,500 jobs

Port Ginesta S.A, the concession company of Port Ginesta for the next 12 years, announces an investment of 10 million euros... in a plan of improvements in the infrastructure, the largest marina in the country, the municipality of Sitges, located next to Castelldefels.

The improvement plan focuses on three clear objectives: improving the competitiveness of infrastructure by helping to generate wealth for the environment, continuing to walk firmly towards the Sustainable Development Goals and helping to consolidate Port Ginesta as a reference port in Mediterranean Europe.

Emissions reduction. The reduction of CO2 emissions is another major battle horse in the fight against climate change; therefore Port Ginesta launches a package of investments to contribute to this reduction... the facades of the buildings will be renewed with CO2 absorbing paint... the current pavement will be restored by an ecological one throughout the port. Two photovoltaic power generation plants that will generate 200 KW are also planned.
