The EurILCA Master 2022, XIV Trophy Calella de Palafrugell, is the great spring meeting of the European master regatists who take advantage, to remeet and share these days of competition. Everything seems to indicate that after overcoming these two years of health crisis, this year is very enthusiastic

First 20 inscriptions in a few days of being open... have already been registered in Callela, for the EurolCA Master 2022-XIV Trophy Calella of Palafrugell, with the memory of Pitus Jiménez.

After two years of suspension of the test, forced by the pandemic, the desire to be able to navigate in the privileged waters of Calella de Palafrugell, by the master regatists throughout Europe, are palpable.

The first to be noted, on the same day of opening the form on the web, was French Jean-Pierre Vogtensperger, from the SN Narbonne club, in the category ILCA7 Grand Master. Then the rhythm has not stopped. So far, regatists have been registered from 9 countries: France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Ireland and Mexico.

Among the first Spanish registered are the Master Carlos Echavarri, RCM Santander, the Legend Miquel Álvarez del CV Calella, as well as other colleagues from his club, in the Grand Master Antoni Roig and Pep Campi category.

To highlight the Spanish Olympics, which have also registered, such as José María Van der Ploeg del CN-the-Balís, and José Luis Doreste del CN-Puerto de Aro, both in ILCA7 Grand Master.

Other registered Spanish regatists are Michel Majon, CN Altea, in ILCA7 Grand Master, Oriol Martí, CN Vilassar de Mar, in ILCA6 Master, Didier Goron, RCN Barcelona, in ILCA6 Grand Master.

Among the foreigners, there are regular regatists to the test, such as Dutch Jaap Mazereeuw, British Max Hunt, Belgian Michel Majon, Swiss Markus Ochs and German Alexandra Behrens.
