The international race of Olympic and pre-Olympic classes will be held from 4 to 13 February and will maintain its multi-headquarters format, which on this occasion will have the RCN of Valencia, the RCR of Alicante and the RCN of Torrevieja
The Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana with the delegation of the Real Federación Española de Vela, the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja and with the collaboration of the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso and the Generalitat Valenciana, has organized this international race that forms one of the stops of the Spanish Olympic Circuit of Vela.
In the absence of a week, this international race has about 450 registered athletes and is expected to exceed 50 international participants. The Mediterranean Sea will have representatives from up to 10 countries, including Poland, France, Greenland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Germany and Ukraine.
The exit pistolet will take place on February 4 from the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante with the classes BIC-Techno 293, Raceboard and IQFoil. On Saturday the 5th will be the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja who hosts the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7 and Radio Control. The last stop of this first weekend will take place on Sunday 6 in the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia with the classes 29er, Class A, Finn, F18, Hobie 16, Snipe and Patin a Vela.
The second weekend will start on Saturday 12 from the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante with the mode 420 and end on Sunday 13 at the Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja with the classes Europe and Flying Dutchman.
The CV Olympic Week includes national and autonomous titles for 9 of its 17 classes. The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante will host the Spanish Techno 293 and IQ Youth Championship during the first weekend and the 420 Autonomical Cup during the second. For its part, the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja will host the Autonomous Cup of the FVCV for the classes ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 at its first stop, on Saturday February 5, and will host the Spanish Cup of the classes Europe and Flying Dutchman on Sunday 13. The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia will accommodate the Spanish Cup of the 29th class during its stop on Sunday, February 6.
