Lanzarote presents the first edition of the World Circuit of the iQFOIL Games, which will take place in the waters of Playa Blanca, in front of the Marina Rubicón marina, in the municipal term of Yaiza from 24 to 29 January. A hundred regatists are expected from 20 countries.

Among the Olympic athletes, they will be in competition with Dutch Kiran Badloe, the current gold medal in Tokyo, and Thomas Goyard, the current silver medal.

The importance of this training launch base can be seen from the results in the Tokyo sailing classes, where 30 medals were given, of which 21 were granted to teams training in Lanzarote.
