The Olympic medalist of the 470 class at the Tokyo Games, Nicolás Rodríguez, has been the focus of the second day of the Optimist Class Christmas Clinic, where about a hundred young regatists from all over the north-west of Spain, who are organizing one of the clubs that works most for the quarry throughout Spain: the Canido Maritime Club.
Nico, who for an hour became Professor Nicolás, was able to check live the expectation that his presence among the younger of both sexes (the optimistic are between the ages of 8 and 15). It was really interesting, the cascade of questions of sailing promises, loaded with interest and illusion in being able to emulate the excellent Vigo regatist... that at the end of his intervention he was able to hear the closed ovation of his auditorium and receive from the president of the Maritime of Canido, Mauro Olmedo, a watercolor, with an image of the field of races in which he deposited his illusion and his effort to be and do it successfully in Tokyo: that of the Cis Islands.

In the Clinic of the Maritime of Canido, several of the best national specialists in the matter are working, case of Hilda Martín (INEF, coach of the Galician Federation, Superior Degree of Vela); Hugo Fernández (Psychology and Sports Coaching); Juan José Durán (National Regatas A) and Manu Millán Vidal (Marino Mercante and CNFM teacher in Bamio).
As a close of these three days, on Wednesday the attendees will have at first hour a conference on Meteorology in charge of Millán, to then ride the ships and go out to sail. At four o'clock in the afternoon, it is planned to deliver diplomas, and to close the Clinic.
