After the first compasses of the day, Thai representative Weka Bhanubandh and Italian Niccolò Pulito set the pace in the yellow and red groups respectively: the Asian representative winning all the races. The Italian, despite making its worst result at the beginning (a sixth), was reinstated by winning the remaining three.
In the final computation, the canary Miguel Padron of the hosts, had an exceptional regularity in the first three sleeves, but pinching in the last (2nd -3rd 2nd) and moving away from the first two, but entering the third place of the podium of the male Sub16 classification. Miguel Conde also from the nautical grancanary, ends in the fourth position of this category after a great championship (3º-4º-2º-10).
The Italian Claudio Crocco closes the top five of the general, also rising with the first position in the male Sub13 classification. The powerful Singapore team managed to place its representative Ethan Chia at the head of the male Sub 11 classification.
The local women gave the breast in this championship, as they took away the triumphs of the three categories envisaged: Sofia Hernández of the RCNT wins in the Sub16 division, his partner of Club Carla Lorenzo does the same in the Sub13 and finally Lili Skomska of the RCNG in the Sub11.

The younger regatists of the optimal class have from tomorrow, three days of competition... to Gran Canaria have moved leading athletes from 14 countries: Cayman Islands, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and Arab Emirates.
The fleet will sail in a single race field located at the height of the marine district of San Cristóbal, divided into two groups, yellow and red... six qualifying races are planned for the first two days of competition.
On Wednesday it will be intended to carry out the three races corresponding to the final phase, where the fleet will be divided into the gold and silver groups depending on the results.
Among the rivals to beat the Italian Alessandro Cirinei, the recent winner of the Lanzarote Trophy, leads a powerful Italian team and the above-mentioned teams from Singapore and Thailand will also be taken into account by the Spanish team with powerful fleets such as those of the Catalan and Canary community.
