The Catalan Vela Federation is promoting a new action to present allegations to amend the State Costas General Regulation that affects beach clubs and nautical clubs... and in general to the sailing.

A new and hopeful chapter is opened for clubs threatened with the overthrow by the State Coast Act. On 17 November, the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge amended the General State Coast Regulation, but none of the amendments made solves the situation of vulnerability and defencelessness in which all these clubs are located. In spite of this, this fact opens a process to submit, until 7 January, allegations for the amendment of that regulation.

This process of filing allegations has been observed from the Catalan Vela Federation as an opportunity to, through the strength and pressure of the entire collective, amend the General Costas Regulation for the benefit of the affected clubs, as well as the sailing sport.

On the basis of this, the federation has drafted a downloadable document with the relevant allegations that would resolve the conflict so that, in a particular or institutional way, anyone who wishes to send it digitally to the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.

This action promoted by the Catalan Vela Federation is part of the Defensem la Vela campaign. "A campaign, agreed by the different committees that work for the resolution of the conflict that affects all these clubs, which ensures the interests and rights of the beach and port clubs of la Vela Catalana.

All the actions within this campaign, through joint, legal and administrative strategies, are aimed at putting into value and defending the impact and return of the sailing sport in the municipalities and throughout the population.

This campaign was born in 2018 and has since met with determination all the legal and legal obstacles that these clubs have encountered, ensuring that all of them have institutional support.
