The end of the third act of the Villalia J70 Winter Series that is organizing the association of the class with the support of the Nautico de Vigo, in which it has shone with its own light in the day of Sunday in the Ria de Vigo, the Marnatura of Luis Bugallo, which has been on this occasion far superior to its rivals.
As far as the general classification of the Winter Series is concerned, this magnificent performance of the Marnatura, which was the J70 amateur world champion, has served him to get into podium places... and to go to the third square, following the leader La Guardia & Moreira de Gonzalo Araújo and the Sogacsa de Sancho Paramo, which is second.
There was a certain fear in boxes, in the sense that there would be wind problems in the Sunday day... and soon the doubt was clear, because Jaime García with British punctuality began the technical procedure at 10: 00 a.m., to start the first manga in which Sogacsa was imposed, ahead of the Marnatura, La Guardia & Moreira, April Verde and Solventis... the wind was from the north-east of 15 knots and all went to satisfaction.
In the second manga was Bugallo the winner and Paramo the second... occupying the third square Malalalo Bermudez de Castro are Solventis and fourth Jorge Pérez Canal with Red April. In the third Araujo, Páramo and Malalo were the three best... for in the fourth and last already with the wind in 10 knots, the north-east maintained... The Guard & Moreira did first, ahead of Sogacsa, Green April, Marnatura and Solventis.
In General Gonzalo Araújo it is very strong with 26 net points... after La Guardia & Moreira doing the same, as it is in a frank disadvantage with the J70 of Araújo, but it keeps away the third that is Marnatura of Luis Bugallo Arriola... despite the excellent day of the Viguese pattern... and later the two Orensian patterns: Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal, which marches equal. From here on, the Pazo de Cea de Ramón Ojea del Marítimo de Canido and the Solventis del Coruñés Bermudez de Castro, who has taken up many posts (has not participated since the Villalia began in five sleeves), but is already in the seventh place.
The Winter Series has two new deliveries: the first on January 15-16, and the last on February 12-13. The other quote of the class at the national level, is being held by the hand of the Barcelona Nautico, with fewer ships... as well as lower level in the crews. In Vigo, as a result of the January meeting, the crews of the Cascais Naval Club, with the Olympic Vasco Serpa lisboeta at the front, will also be on the exit line.

The J70 La Guardia & Moreira with Gonzalo Araújo a la rea, Jacobo Vecino, Nicolás Rodríguez, Toni Ripoll and Paco Riveras (two of the Nautico de Vigo and three clubs with a crew: Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona, Real Club Nautico de La Coruña and Real Club Nautico de Sanxenxo), continues to be the leader of the Villalia Winter Series that organize the J70 Class and the Real Club Nautico de Vigo, after the day of Saturday, which marked the beginning of the third of the Villalia in the Galicia Series.
There was a lot of fear among the eighty regatists participating in this meeting, because they distrusted the wind conditions for this weekend... and the fact is that they were fully right with the prediction... to the point that before four o'clock in the afternoon (after a two-hour wait in the water) the judges led by the Coruñés Jaime García, who as the Chief Officer of Regata, were obliged to send the athletes to the shower and to take the day off.
Once at the Nautico Vigués, Jaime García quoted all the crew to start the competition at 10: 00 in the morning, with the intention of trying to perform four sleeves. The Portuguese teams, based on the Cascais Naval Club led by the Olympic Lisboeta Vasco Serpa, have definitely confirmed that they will compete in the Villalia Winter Series, but will do so from the event to be held in Vigo on January 15 and 16.
The world's pentacampeon of sailing the Vigués Víctor Mariño, which was proclaimed last November with the German TP52 Platoon world champion of the TP52 Super Series, is participating in the J70 of Luis Pérez Canal, with the Green April... which is now third of the general, after La Guardia & Moreira and the Sogacsa. The Orensano ship, counts amen of Pérez Canal and Mariño, with a very strong crew in which they are: Eduardo Regiera, Pablo Sponosa, Luis da Rocha and Juan de Cominges (all of them from the Maritime of Canido).
Finally highlight the important coruñese representation in these Villalia... with Malalo Bermudez de Castro in command of the Solventis, the cited Toni Ripoll on the ship of Araújo... the Valmy Atlántica of the Club of Sea of Honey and one of the reference patterns of the north-west, such as Francisco Edreira with the Correa Kessler... completes the list of novelties to the very young pattern of the City of the Burgas... of Alejandro Pérez Canal, which is the cane of the Sailway Academy and... the J70 of canterans of the Club of Canido.

New act of the Villalia Winter Series of J70 in Galician waters... will be on a double day with the beginning of Saturday at the edge of one and a half in the afternoon... and with a Sunday very morning as always and the beginning of the sleeves at 10: 00 in the morning. It will be a doubt until the last minute the number one pattern of Portugal in J70: the Olympic Vasco Serpa, which has already confirmed the creation of a fleet in the area of Lisboa-Cascais with four units initially, of which the first unit was trying to get it already this weekend, to compete in viguese waters.
This bet for the Lusian regatists of which is the reference class of monotype at the international level, is very important for the Galaics J70, who have their units in Vigo and in La Coruña... being precisely the planning of the class that organizes these Villalia Series with the support of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo... that the great citations are celebrated in the olive city and in La Coruña... in this case of the hand of Marina Coruña, which has in front of the competitions, the great herculine pattern Chuny Bermudez of the world, currently considered as the best of the world of Castro.
At this stage of the year two series of J70 are being held in Spain: that of the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona and the Villalia de Vigo, with the highest level and number of ships in the Viguese series... that again face an act with a very important cast of patterns and crews with excellent level.
In the first line Gonzalo Araújo that this year has managed to be once again among the elite of the World Swan in Mallorcan waters and that leads the La Guardia & Moreira, in which he does not neglect the quarry and has among other crew with the Coruñés Toni Ripoll, one of our highest hopes.
After Araújo, Sogacsa is located with several illustrious, such as Sancho Páramo or Pablo Iglesias... who was the patron of one of the Telefonics in the Volvo. In this unit, Jaime Gandara usually competes for another of the promises of the Galician heavy candle... good master in his house is not missing.
The podium is provisionally closed by the Orensano Luis Pérez Canal with April Verde... that is with his brother Jorge very glued (at one point), a little behind the coruñés Malalo Bermudez de Castro with Solventis, closing the lot of the favorites Luis Bugallo with Marnatura... which is certainly one of the most valuable Spanish canals of today in terms of the new hornada, which also of being a world champion of J70 among the amateurs, was a component of the Spanish team in the Young Americas Cup of Bermuda.
