The promises of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte sailed in a Christmas Trophy that was fought with the south-east wind of 6 to 10 knots and much current in the inner Abra, due to the weather inclinations suffered during the last few weeks

Martin Verástegui and Bruno Miguvarri in the Optimist class, Ane Lejarga and Martín Bueno in the ILCA class 4 and 6, Daniela and Paula Voss Diaz-Blanco in 420, Manolo Rey-Baltar and Rafael Cuñiga in Snipe and Covadonga Garcia-Santamarina and Aitana Atela in FEVA, were the winners of the Christmas Trophy, the last light sailing test of the calendar of the Royal Maritime Club of the AbraReal Sporting Club.

The test was decided with three tours on Sunday day, at last with good time, after the Saturday one was overturned by the lack of wind and a very intense rain.

Martin Verástegui was the best in Optimist I with an advantage point in the global general regarding Iñigo Arechavala, second. Nikole Valle finished the winner's third to two points. On the other hand, Bruno Miguvarri won the three Optimist 2 tests, with Telmo Usman second and Lola raised in the third (both tied to points) in the absolute general.

Ane Lejarraga also imposed himself on the three ILCA 4 tours, as did Martin Bueno on the two ILCA 6, followed by Gabriel Oraá, Gaspar Gallinger and Pablo Cerón. The equality was maximum in Snipe, with final victory for the Manolo Rey-Baltar and Rafael Cuñiga for imposing on the last tour to Tomás Trueba and Nicolás Viar.

The sisters Daniela and Paula Voss Diaz- Blanco ended a great year with a win in 420, ahead of Aier and Natalia Carreira, at one point. Covadonga García-Santamarina and Aitana Atela came first in the three courses of the FEVA class, with Nacho Murcia and Ivan Sales in the second position.

In the award-giving, where the social trophies of previous races are also given, the regatists who received the award were also discovered. It was Manolo Rey-Baltar and Borja Reig, junior European champions in the Snipe class... the patite prize was for Gabriel Oraá
