The Spanish de Vela approves a budget close to 6 million euros

In the sports section, Vice President Joaquín González Devesa introduced to the board Franciso Gil, new Technical Director of the RFEV, and Manuel Fraga, president of the cruise committee, both responsible for the implementation of the sports plan designed for the next three years
The Royal Spanish Federation of Vela drew financial muscle during the General Assembly of the 2021 exercise held last Saturday at the headquarters of the Superior Council of Sports in Madrid.
The accounts, fully healed and without debt, show an upward trend in the Federation's reserves, a money that will increase investment in the development of athletes.
A total of 43 Assemblies, and 35 voting delegations, went to the meeting to learn first hand about the state of the federal accounts and the budget and economic project proposed by President Javier Sanz and his team in the face of 2022.
The treasurer of the RFEV, Joan Sanfeliu, presented to the Assembly the annual accounts for the financial year 2020 and the report of the external audit PKF Attest, which shows the good state of the federal coffers.
For the financial year 2022, the RFEV has submitted annual accounts of €5.682 million, slightly higher than in 2021.
