Diego Carral is the president of a new nautical project, born with broad support from the sailing world and named Club Náutico Cabanas

In an event in which half a hundred amateurs were present, a representation of the town hall of Cabanas was present, which sees with good eyes the group that wants to develop with quality, a road map in which they are very present, both a School of Sailing, as well as the empowerment of the light candle (it is planned to create a section with catamarans, finn and snipe).

It has the support of several of the most relevant cruise units of the northern Galician fleet... case of the Cachete (Urbapaz), Eleko-Mambo, Lambaxa, La María and Mar de Vento... in fact the founding board has several crew or shipowners of one of these units: Diego Carral, Iñaki Klett Botas, Carlos Sampedro Curbera, Alvaro Carral and Jaime Araújo.

For the time being, the Coruñés City Council has given way to the Nautico Cabanas, which will soon be able to have temporary facilities on the beach of Magdalena... for the due time, to be able to have a location with a reasonable quality in the medium term.

One of the most important initiatives is the creation of a bag of young crew (under 25 years of age) and without sailing skills, to introduce them into the races and receive training from the crew, ensuring the crew a place on the team for the entire season... including high-level tests.
