Spain already has new Spanish champions of the Snipe class. The almeriense- tinerfeño tandem formed by Marta Hernández (CM Almería) and Julia Ivfil (RCN Tenerife) have been made today with the national scepter in the RCN of Valencia, on a second day marked by the total absence of the wind, which has not allowed to complete a single test, so the two closed on Saturday allow to grant the title to Hernández and Ivory.
The podium of the Spanish championship has been closed with Patricia Medina and Mª Eugenia Calvo (RCN Gran Canaria) and Rosa Mª Foruria and Laura Morata (RCN Valencia). The Tinefena-Almerian tandem formed by Marta Hernández (RCN Tenerife) and Julia Ivfil (CM Almería), with two seconds in the only two tests completed on this first day, have been placed leaders in the Spanish Women's Snipe Championship held in the RCN of Valencia.
A situation that has led to changes in routes, shortened tests and different markers in terms of the number of tests, both the national of Snipe and the Levante Sailing Light Trophy. The females have completed two tests, as have the 29er, ILCA 4 and Optimist, while in the Snipe fleet it has been closed with one.
With only one test in the Snipe fleet, within the framework of the Levante Sailing Light Trophy 2021, the great favorites have fulfilled. Agustín Zabalua and Belén Olivas lead the group with a first position, followed by Mariano Arroyo and Jovi Marzal and Gonzalo Calvo and Joaquín Armengot, all of them from the organizing club.

A total of 18 female crews have moved to the capital of the Turia, of which 14 will fight for the national scepter, since two from Belgium, one from Great Britain and another Portugal have been authorized by the Royal Spanish Vela Federation to participate in the race, but they will not choose the title, but the Levant Trophy.
Catorces female crews from Gran Canaria, Andalusia, Murcia Region so the Valencia Community has ahead an intense two-day competition program, with a maximum of six tests, all with options and a lot of equality between them, at least in the Absolute category.

The first test of the day at the Snipe female national was established at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, while on Sunday it was determined at 12 noon, except for changes. For the Levant Trophy on Saturday the first test of the day will be launched at 12 noon, the same for the Sunday day.
