The full restyling of the fleet is scheduled to end on 30 May 2022...

The restyling work of the Trasmed fleet is about to begin... four ships from the shipping company, the City of Palma, the Tijarafe Volcano, the Teide Volcano and the City of Granada, will alternate every 45 days in dry dike from 6 December, to be renewed both in the passenger service areas and in the new teaching that will be their two sides.

Thus, the ships will receive new names and a new teaching... in addition, they will have as their predominant color the characteristic blue of Grimaldi in both the fireplace and both sides, where the Grimaldi Trasmed sign will appear.

The renovation of passenger rooms and cabin rooms will also be carried out. The renewal of the fleet, which will be an investment of approximately 30 million euros, will be carried out in the Italian shipyards of La Spezia gradually and will begin with the ferry City of Palma, currently in service in the line between Barcelona and Palma.

The renovation and improvement work will also mean a progress in the sustainability of the ships thanks to the installation of the scrubbers pollutant gas purification systems in each of them.
