The Remo de Mar celebrates this weekend the last event of which it is the first edition of its National League: the Grand Prix Deputación da Coruña, immersed in the Abanca Week. Sada joins the list of cities that have experienced the remarkable events, of this specialty called to be the Olympic rowing have been: Barcelona, Tarragona, Alicante, Málaga, La Línea, Vigo, Getxo and San Sebastián.

The great event was presented at the Provincial Palace of A Coruña, which was attended by representatives of the Receptación da Coruña (Cristina Capelán), the Galician Federation of Remo (Manuel Sada), the organizing club that is the Nautical Club of Sada (Enrique Tostado) and the Abanca Week (Javier Alvarez).

The era of Betanzos will welcome from Friday with the day of official training, the teams of Andalusian, Valencian, Catalan, Basque, Galician and Portuguese... that reach the final line of this first League, which has rank of Iberian Championship.

For Galicia it is necessary to highlight the Club de Remo Vigo that will displace to Sada its 20 best specialists of both sexes, in order to achieve the national title of the League, of which it is a leading leader in the absence of the closing event. In line of departure the cadet, juvenile, senior and master categories (both male, female and mixed) that will sail in the classes of 1 crew... 2 and 4 (with timonel).

The Galician army is composed of Vigo, Noia, San Felipe (Ferrol), Mugardos, Esteirana (Muros), Tui, Cabo de Cruz (Boiro), Ares and Mandeo (Bergondo). For the Mediterranean and South Atlantic area, the Gaditano Linense, the Náutico El Campello, the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja and the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante... while for the Basque rowing have confirmed their participation clubs of the quality contracted from the Ur Kirolak of San Sebastián or the Arkote Arraun Tvillage of Vizcaya.

They complete the program of this long weekend of the international rowing in Sada, the Iberian Congress of Remo de Mar, which will take place on the afternoon of Friday 12, as well as the Galego Remo Gala in which the City of Sada Awards will be delivered and which will be held from seven in the afternoon of Saturday. Both events will be staged by the auditorium of the Casa la de Cultura Pintor Llorens, chaired by the Coruñesa city regior Oscar Benito Portela Fernández.
