The Monte Real Club de Yates has just signed up for Olympic coach Carlos Llamas to prepare his J80 fleet for the Spanish Championship and the World Class to be held in Baiona in 2022 and 2023.

The Malagasy prepper will train the Galician monotypes in the different days of the leagues that the Baionese club celebrates during the autumn and winter months. He will go out into the water with the 8-meter crews to analyze his maneuvers and at the end of each day he will offer them a briefing designed to improve his techniques and tactics of competition.

The Andalusian Carlos Llamas stands out for having trained some of the most prominent regatists of the Spanish nautical landscape, such as Támara Echegoyen, Fernando Echávarri, Diego Botín or Jordi Xammar, among many others... has been Olympic prepper on two occasions (Athens and Rio) and among the achievements of its athletes are European championships of 470, J70, 49er and Star; and J80 world medals.

The technician will premiere with the Baiona monotypes this weekend on the third day of the Autumn League Aedas Homes J80, in which the Okofen of Javier de la Gandara is leader of the classification with 6 points, followed very closely by the Marías de Manel Cunha (8 points). The third provisional position is the Cassino de Alejandra Suárez, with 16 points.
