Labradores de Sevilla and Regatas de Alicante, the most outstanding of the Championship
From October 23 to 24, the 73rd Spanish Yolas Championship was held at the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante. The meeting, organized by the Spanish Federation of Remo, the Federation of Remo the Valencia Community and the Real Regatas Club of Alicante, with the collaboration of the Spanish Olympic Committee and the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation through the program of aid to competitions PAC CV, had a clear winner, the Real Circle of Labradores of Seville.
The waters of Alicante were a witness throughout the weekend of the Spanish Yolas championship, historical and pioneering modality in Spain, whose national championships have been held since 1902. The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante was the first winner of the race held in Barcelona in the 4 + mode.
On the Saturday day, the 19 participating clubs disputed their presence in the late Sunday, paving out the first expunges and repests. A total of 54 vessels competed in the port of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante in the different categories: cadet, juvenile, absolute and veteran, both female and male.
The winners of the last editions, El Real Círculo de Labradores, who attended with seven boats, again did the same and was done with a total of six medals, which gave them the title of the best club in this championship. He only gave up the first place in veterans. For its part, the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante with nine boats was the second best club to get a sum of five dishes.
