Second day of the City of Vigo Trophy of double classes

Javier Porto reproduces the title of 2020 in Atlantic Week, with the triumph of the Alagua CD in Vaurien and the Sanxenxo Nautico in 420
To give first does not mean to give twice... except in Vaurien. The double classes of the Atlantic Week - City of Vigo acclaimed Bruno Ameneiro and Pablo Lorenzo (RCN Sanxenxo) in 420, Javier Porto (RCN Vigo) and Andrés Jiménez (RCN Rodeira) in Snipe and Nacho Campos and Yolanda Bastos (CD Alagua) after two exciting days. Porto reedita title, this time with another crew.
After the first manga, Stella Maris Enríquez and María Núñez (RCN Vigo) continued to command in class 420 with a second position and two points of margin on Ameneiro and Lorenzo, as was the case between the Snipe: Patricio de Haga and Guillermo Rey (RCN Vigo) signed a second and kept their adversaries at bay. On the other hand, the classification in the Vaurien class was turned, as Pablo Cabello and David Fernández (RCN Vigo) won the first morning race and were at the front, though with the same points as Campos and Bastos.
In the second race, fourth in the series, the fight for the title was narrowing. The discards came into play and were imposed on the manga Ameneiro and Lorenzo (420), Campos y Bastos (Vaien) and Porto y Jiménez (Snipe). The female crew of the Nautico resisted with a point of advantage in 420, among the Snipe passed to the Javier Porto table with Andrés Jiménez and Campos and Bastos recovered the leadership reached on Saturday.
In the fifth Sunday race, the same winners of the previous trial repeated partial triumph and Bruno Ameneiro and Pablo Lorenzo moved Stella and Maria from the provisional leadership, while the other patterns, Porto and Campos, strengthened their control over the rest of the adversaries.
In view of the perfect day and the lack of incidences, the Regatas Committee set out to hold a fourth sleeve to reach the top of six tests set out in the Regata Instructions. But minutes after two in the afternoon the sleeve was overturned by the fall of the wind and the fleet returned to the ground. In 420, Ameneiro and Lorenzo (2- [3] -3-1-1, 7 net points) took the title tied with the Viguese regatists Enríquez and Núñez, claiming their triumph in the last of the five races.
In Snipe, Porto and Jiménez (1- [7] -1-1, 4 points) they won in general with three points of difference over Patricio de Haga and Guillermo Rey (RCN Vigo) and Nacho Campos and Yolanda Bastos (1- [3] -1-1, 4 points net) won with equal slack to Cabello and Fernández, from the Nautico Vigués, subchampions of everything (National, Spanish Cup and Galicia Championship) and winners of the Galicia Cup.
Campos y Bastos, a Viguese crew of the Alagua Guardia CD, confirms that it is preparing its presence in the World Cup of Vigo 2022. This year they signed a fourth place in the Spanish Championship of Laredo and the Spanish Cup in As Pontes, as well as a bronze in the Galician de Comarto and, in 470, a win in the Galicia Cup of Vilagarcía.
