The crews of the Astur de Regatas de Gijón and the nautical ones of Vigo, Sanxenxo and La Coruña will be chosen after the Previa Phase, to face Sunday in the final phase of the Regata Isabel Zendal- Grand Prix Concello da Coruña, which has opened the Abanca Week in the City of La Coruña.

Little wind in herculine waters, to the extent that it can be considered that the judges led by the Arosano Chuco Pérez Lapuente, have taken oil from the little north-west of 6 knots that accompanied the opening day of the Regata Isabel Zendal. Despite this, the goal was to close the Final Phase, and to reserve by caution the Sunday day for the great final, in which the first two of each group will be faced in one of four, with so many other races.

To highlight the great equality among the participating regatists of the 10 clubs and institutions: for no team has passed two victories in their groups. Those who managed to beat their rivals on two occasions were precisely those who will be at the very end: Gijón, Vigo, Sanxenxo and La Coruña... while the Viguesas of Sailing and the Galician Universities were scored one first each. The last two were left, in addition to the Marin's Miltar Naval School, the Abra Vizcadino Maritime and the British University of Sussex.

The Abanca Week comes this weekend to La Coruña, after more than a month of competitions in the Rias de Vigo, Pontevedra, Betanzos and the River Miño; in which hundreds of nautical athletes have competed in Olympic sailing, heavy sailing, pyragüism, traditional rowing, ergometer rowing and nautical skiing.

The specialty in the Coruñesa ría, by the hand of the Royal Nautico Club, will be the J80 mono-type candle... in which they will compete, female crews in their entirety with a sense of tribute and memory towards the unforgettable Isabel Zendal.

The event was presented at the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, and had the presence of several directors of the Club including its president Fernando Cobián, the sports councilwoman of A Coruña Mónica Martínez, the sports delegate of the Galician executive Roberto García, the responsible for institutional relations of Abanca Juan Manuel Vilariño, the deputy director of Carris Marineda Barbara Navas and the president of the Isabel Zendal Association, Pilar Farjas.

The race will have many of the promises of the Spanish women's sailing... that will fight for the colors of the Mount Real Club of Yates of Bayona; Náuticos de Vigo, Sanxenxo and La Coruña; Vértigo-La Lagoa de Vigo; the clubs of Gijón and Getxo; two universities, with a selection of the Galician and the British University of Succes and as a closure of the Spanish Navy. All teams will be able to despise a score every 8 sleeves held... in which they do not participate. They'll be short tests with a 30-minute time limit, very technical... The crews, will have as headquarters the Hotel Carris Marineda... being the first two to arrive (they did it on the afternoon - Thursday night) the British and the Basque.

In the water much level with regatists called to be in the front line and even think of Olympic key: the African Alonso Patron of Galician Universities that was champion of Spain of 420, by the Náutico de Vigo Paloma González, the Abra de Getxo brings one of the Basque promises of cane: Joana Abasola, Sanxenxo has the contest of another of the great as is Paula de Rocha with a past in the spectacular class optmist, Irene Rodríguez Rey will be the patron of the Náutico of La Corña, and the team of the Spanish Guardia is essentially responsible for the area of the area of the city of the city of the city, and is responsible for the area of the city of the city.

High-flight race in La Coruña that fits the philosophy of the Abanca Week. Years ago he achieved and encouraged participation among others (when he was Caixanova) of Xammar, Tritel, Bugallo, Nico Rodríguez, Botín, Tamara Echegoyen, Sofía Toro. Now the desire is that in Herculine waters, we can enjoy our youngest promises, which because they can not... be in the short term, the successors of which they are already consecrated.
