Marc Blees and Code Zero join the fleet of ten teams of seven nationalities that will compete from 1 to 6 November in Mallorcan waters, with the organization of the Real Club Náutico de Palma by the Rolex TP52 World Championship with the Xio Code Zero... Blees is a recognized regatist who has competed at the highest level in the Finn and Star classes and has also done very successful campaigns in other types of races... the Dutch navigator has also competed in previous editions of 52 Super Series.
The ship that has chosen the shipowner to compete is the Xio-Code Zero, the 2011 Quantum Racing that already as Xio became world champion in the class ORC in 2019. Recently this 52 ended in the third position of the TP52 20th Anniversary Invitational Day in which it competed with the entire fleet of the Circuit.
Mark Mendelblatt, Olympic for the United States in 2012 in the Star class and who was the world subchampion of TP52 in 2009 in Mallorca, will be the tactic of which he was once his rival in the Olympic class and now very good friends, Marc Blees. The South African Mark Lagesse is at the navigator's station. The bulk of the crew will be made up of regatists who usually compete together in Maxi 72 Jethou.
