An overwhelming victory of the Nautico de Arrecife in the Spanish League of Vela

Eight first positions in the nine preliminary tests leave no doubt about the superiority of the launch team in this III Spanish Vela League
The Lotteries and State Bet Trophy ends its third edition in Calpe with the RCN Arrecife victory, in the podium accompanied by the CN Altea and the CN Arenal. Under very light and unstable wind conditions, the excellent work of the committee allowed to close this last day with a qualifying test and three final double-score races.
The day came to an unwind and grey in the bay of Calpe, conditions that did not bite the race committee, which did not hesitate to send the fleet into the water with the intention of taking the first opportunity to start the exit procedure. In spite of the blanks and with the power of the wind almost to the limit, one last qualifying test and three final races could finally be held.
The RCN Arrecife crew, led by Ricardo Terrades and Alberto Morales, closed the qualifying series with a new victory, totaling eight in the nine sleeves. This was the beginning of the round of finals in which the launchers, with a wide advantage, were conservative with a 3-5-5, positions that were sufficient to rise with their second Lotteries Trophy and State Bet, thus sealing their passport for the European Sailing League. On the contrary, their immediate persecutors, the clubs of Arenal and Altea, were in a hard battle to define the following podium steps.
With Alejandro Arroyo in charge, the boys of the CN Altea were used to the maximum to get an 1-2-1 that, against the 4-1-2 of the team led by Ian Walker, CN Arenal, gave the second position of the general to the Alteans, relegating the baleares to the third position.
The fourth position was the RCN Palma, patronized by Pablo Ruiz, followed by the RCN Valencia and RCR Alicante who have not taken part in this last quote, and the CN Calpe, led by Sven Stadel.

The second day of the final phase of the Lotteries and State Bet Trophy has been saved with only two completed evidence. With a first exit to the sea at 12: 00 and returning from empty to ground before 14: 00, everything made a day of white. But the Committee has reached the flag of postponement after 15: 30 hours and has gone out to try luck again with the final result of two completed sleeves, for a total of nine tests in the first two days of this last race of the III Spanish League of Vela.
The instability and the few 5 knots that have blown in Calpe have not been enough rivals for the team of the Arrecife Nautico, an undisputed leader, who seems to compete against himself and today has won in the only two tests of the day. For its part, the Arenal whole remains in the second provisional general position with a 5 + 3 partial today. The third position remains for the Nautico de Altea, which today has added a 2 + 5 to its locker.
Tomorrow, the third Spanish Vela League will face the last day of its final phase. The committee's intention is to get as many tests as possible before 12: 30, when the fleet will enter the final series: three double-score races after which the new national league champion will be known, which will also be the Spanish representative at the Sailing Champions League of 2022.

The first day of the final phase of the Lotteries and State Bet Trophy, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Calpe and the Spanish Vela Federation, has had two clear protagonists: the wind, which has exceeded 20 knots of intensity, and the team of the Náutico de Arrecife, which again stands out for its results by strengthening itself as leader of this III Spanish Vela League.
On this opening day, a total of six tests were held, in which the launch crew achieved five wins. With these results, the team led by Ricardo Terrades, with Alberto Morales to the cane, remains at the head of the general classification, running as a clear aspirant to the final triumph.
The crew of the NCN Arenal, patronized by Ian Walker, is second in the provisional, third being the team of Alejandro Arroyo, of the NCN Altea. Despite its absence in this quote, the RCN Valencia remains in fourth position thanks to the advantage accumulated in the tests disputed at the Arenal Nautical Club, the first phase of the Lotteries Trophy and State Bet. Fifth is the RCN Palma, with Pablo Ruiz, sixth the RCR Alicante, in the same situation as the Valencian crew, and seventh the RCN Calpe, of Sven Stadel.
