Today the fourteenth edition of the charismatic test of the European sailing masters, organized by the Club Vela Calella, was presented at the stand of the Catalan Vela Federation and will again be held next year from 28 April to 1 May.

After 17 years and 14 editions is one of the most attended European circuit tests with more than 120 registered participants on average, representatives from more than 16 countries.

The test started in 2006 is the great spring meeting of European regatists masters, who take advantage of the waters of Calella de Palafrugell to remeet and share during these days of competition, friendship and companionship, in a year with renewed enthusiasm, then overcome these years of health crisis.

In its seventeen years of existence, this international master's race organized by the Club Vela Calella has been cancelled three times, always motivated by causes of greater evil, as they were in spring 2010, by an exceptional snowfall in the regions of Girona and southern France and those of the years 2019 and 2020, due to the health crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
