The Dorsia Covirán of the Burriananova Marina of Castellón, was proclaimed winner of the National Women's League of Vela 2021 which, after its passage through the Basque Country and Mallorca, this weekend held its last and final tests in Galicia.
The team that was closest to taking away the victory of the girls of the Dorsia was the Decoexa of the Royal Nautical Club of San Sebastián, led by Olatz Muñoz... because the Vasas were the victors of the last trials of the league, held on Sunday in Baiona under the organization of the Mount Real Club of Yates under the sponsorship of Grupo Isonor.
In the four contested sleeves (all Sunday, as it was left blank on Saturday), the Decoexa got two first and two seconds, making him the winner of the Galician act.
In second position, with a partial of 2-2-4-3, there was the Cansino, of Alejandra Suárez, of the Real Nautical Club of Vigo; and the AGD of Helena Alegre, of the Real Nautical Club of Palma, was third, with 3-4-7-1 in its markers.
Once the classification of the last phase held in Baiona and added the points to the general classification of the National League, the Dorsia Covirán was successful, leaving the silver and bronze of the female circuit to the GAD Desamiantados de Helena Alegre (RCN Palma) and the Decoexa de Olatz Muñoz (RCN San Sebastian) respectively.

After passing through Vizcaya and Mallorca, this weekend the National Women's League of Vela 2021 arrives in Galicia, the national circuit promoted by the Royal Spanish Federation of Vela that will hold its final tests in Baiona under the organization of the Monte Real Club of Yates de Baiona and under the sponsorship of the Isonor Group.
The competition will bring together the best women's crews in the country on board a J80, one of the most booming monotypes in Spain for years, with a significant number of units in Galicia, including the Monte Real fleet.
The winners of the Women's National League will come out of the joint classification of the II International Women's Sailing Cup held in May at the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club; the 39th Cup of the King organized by the Real Club Nautico de Palma; and the latest tests this weekend in Baiona.
This final stage, officially presented this Friday at the Mount Real Club of Yates will include two regatta days, on Saturday from noon and Sunday from 11: 00 in the morning. There are six tests scheduled, three a day, and the race will be valid once two sleeves are completed. The J80 will have to deal with the barlovent-sotavent-type routes, compete in fleet format and score in real time.
The absence of the current leaders will add emotion to a final of competition in which the second and third provisional classified ones will be: the crew of the AGD of the Royal Nautical Club of Palma, which patrons Helena Alegre; and that of the Decoexa of the Royal Nautical Club of San Sebastian, led by Olatz Muñoz. The baleares and the vases are separated by 5 and 8 points respectively from the circuit leadership of the Valencians.
The top 5 provisional of the Women's National League of Vela 2021 is completed with the Biobizz Women of María Sánchez, the Royal Maritime Club of Santander, in fourth position; and the Cosentino- Les Roches Group of Eva González, the Royal Maritime Club of Marbella, in fifth place.
