The Mini Transat EuroChef is already in La Palma. The Tolle MP-Pogo of Tanguy Bouroullec first crossed the goal of the first stage of the biennial race which, for the first time in its 23 editions, makes a scale on the beautiful island before crossing the Atlantic from next October 29.

Boroullec used 7 days 02 hours 12 minutes and 30 seconds to complete the 1,350 miles of the tour between Les Sables d'Olonne (France) and Santa Cruz de La Palma, at an average speed of 7.85 knots.

The second place, also in the Proto category, was for the Italian Fabio Muzzolini on board the Tartine sans Beurre, who crossed the beacons located in front of the Castle of Santa Catalina 1 hour 03 minutes and 37seconds later than Bouroullec, although in the previous day he had starred in a spectacular rebound that practically placed them at par. The third square was for Pierre Le Roy, patron of the TeamWork, 1 hour 09 minutes and 29 seconds from the leader. Very close to the first three came also Irina Gracheva, patron of the Path.

The rest of the regatists, until the completion of the fleet of 90, will also arrive in the coming days once they have left from Galician and Portuguese ports with favourable wind. Once regrouped, they will prepare their boats to leave next October 29 for Guadeloupe Island. By arriving at the port of San Francisco, the skippers will have completed 4050 nautical miles.

The scale in La Palma of the twenty-third edition of the Mini Transat Eurochef is possible thanks to theof His Excellency Cabildo Insular de La Palma in its area of Tourism, the City Council of Santa Cruz de La Palma, as well as the Government of the Canary Islands, through Promotur and the General Directorate of Sports, the Harbour Authority of Tenerife and Calero Marinas - Marina La Palma.
