The Ferri endowment includes an electro-hydraulic crane capable of handling 20 tons to 20 meters on oil platform in high seas conditions

The Blue Eagle is an FPSO (production, storage and transfer of crude), especially suitable for offshore operation. It is 106 meters long, 25 meters manga, 32 meters high and moves 10,406 tons. It was presented by Armón as the most modern process ship in the Gulf of Mexico and as a milestone for the Spanish naval industry. It is also the first of its kind equipped with hybrid propulsion by combining diesel and electricity, an unprecedented solution in the sector. He was baptized on July 23 in Gijón and handed over to the Mexican group Durandco to join his Blue Marine division, one of the largest offshore service providers in Mexico and Latin America.

To meet the customer's demanding specifications, Armon Shipyards trusted Ferri Industries to equip much of the Blue Eagle's cover. The systems designed and developed to be measured by Ferri Industries include two combined anchorages (with 60K3 chain bar, 260-metre mating carrel of 60 mm stacha and electrically variable cylinder hydraulic engine drive), two stopores, two electric vertical cabins (with capacity for six tons to 16 meters per minute) and articulated hydraulic cranes, one for on-board load operations and one for handling of personnel and cargo to the outside of the ship.
