3 Oros for Spanish rowing at the Beach Sprint World Cup in Portugal

Success of the Spanish rowing in Lusitian waters
The Spanish expedition, which came to the meeting with nine ships, has risen to the top of the podium on a total of three occasions and has been left to the doors on three more. The world-wide event was held all over last weekend in the Lusian city of Oeiras, where a total of 25 countries and 200 remers have met to discuss this exciting new sea rowing test.
In the Spanish championship of Beach Sprint, held in La Línea de La Concepción last August, it was where the various ships that went to the world event in Portugal were ranked after being the best in their category. This was the second time that a world-level event of Beach Sprint was held, a new mode of sea rowing much more explosive and attractive due to the distance and typology of circuit.
The first medal came from the ship of the Mediterranean RIC of Malaga, with the four absolute mixed (CMix4x +) formed by Ramón Gómez, Miguel Ruíz, Celia de Miguel, Teresa Díaz and Felipe Méndez. The Andalusians were awarded gold after overcoming the various qualifying sleeves and in the final to France.
As for the second, it was achieved by Ander Martín and Esther Briz (Royal Circle of Labradores), who already know what it is to be world champions: the first was world champion of sea rowing in double in 2019 and the second champion of the young world in Skiff in 2017 and of Europe in 2018. This was the first time they were reeling together after the Spanish championship.
The third gold was achieved by Jaime Salas and Miguel Soler, from the RC.R of Alicante, by imposing on the double male youth. And on the edge of the podium were three vessels: the absolute female single (CW1x) with Ainoha Casanova (C.D. de Mar Clot de Lillot El Campello), the male youth single (CJM1x) with Miguel Salas (R.C. Regatas de Alicante) and the female double youth (CJW2x) with Esther Llinares and Eva Ferrussalam (C.D. Mar Clot de Lillot El Campello and S.D.C.N. Santa Pola). The CJW1x of Esther Llinares (C.D. de Mar Clot de Lillot El Campello) and the double mixed youth (CJMix2x) of Alejandra Rumbeu and Jaime Soler (R.C. Regatas de Alicante) were five. The CM1x Sergi Planelles (C.D. Mar Clot de Lillot El Campello) was tenth.
