King Baltar and Borja Reig are proclaimed Junior European Snipe Champions

The two winners - very regular with a first, two seconds, a third and a sixth position - win a European title for the Royal Abra Maritime Club - Real Sporting Club after they also got Zulema Calvo and Mariana Buesa in the L'Equipe class in 2003.
The Vizcaínos Manolo Rey-Baltar and Borja Reig, from the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club, are the new European junior champions of the Snipe class following the competition held in Almería.
The young regatists of the Club de Las Arenas concluded with their Fhimasa Lastrin with 14 points, two less than the hosts Juan José Fernández and Daniel Espejo, and five less than the local Fernando Reche Martín Fresneda. Manolo Rey-Baltar and Borja Reig proclaimed themselves winners after defending their income after the last tests organized by the Club de Mar de Almería.
This season is very special for Manolo Rey-Baltar, who in July also was the champion of the youth world in Denmark in the J80 class along with Tomás Trueba, Silvia Marcé, Perico Basterra and Nicolás Viar. Rey-Baltar and Reig were also rooms in the Spanish Championship of this class Snipe in Gran Canaria.
