Regatists from Ciudad Real, Toledo and Guadalajara participated, as well as other arrivals from the communities of Castilla and León and Madrid (Photo Surf3)

It took place in the reservoir of Entrepeñas, in the Alcarreña villa of Alocén, organized by the Club Deportivo Orillas de Alocén; with the collaboration of the General Directorate of Sports of CLM, Diputación de Guadalajara, the City of Alocén, Surf3 and other public and private entities... the first edition of the Regata de la Mujer of the Community of Castilla La Mancha.

The race was an organizational success and assistance of female athletes on a very festive day and where above the competition, the participation and the good environment between the windsurfers and women sailors... who met in Guadalajara waters in a number close to the half-hundred regatists.

The objectives of the Federation of Vela de Castilla la Mancha, the sports club Orillas de Alocén and other entities in organizing this race have, without a doubt, been to bring the sport of sailing and windsurfing closer to the Spanish women of Manchega and to show a reality such as the increasing presence of women athletes in society..

The Regata de la Mujer, has been launched in order to promote and disseminate the sport of sailing and windsurfing among the girls and young people of Castilla La Mancha and other autonomous communities bordering (Fotos Surf3)

• The competition was very contested between Sandra del Villar, from the San Ramón de Madrid nautical club and Pilar Prieto from the Orillas de Alocén club. The Guadalajareña Prieto won in the first of the tests, while Del Villar did in the second of the rounds. Despite the equality of points between the two at the end of the race, the competition rules granted Sandra del Villar the first place and Pilar Prieto the second place.

• Three semi-final tests were carried out among the collective ships, where each ship had a crew of about 6 women. After the semi-final rounds, which consisted of a "one against another" competition, with navigation in all the steps, two of the ships were classified for the final tests.

At the same time it was held in Alocén, the first test of the championship of Castilla la la Mancha de windsurf 2021 in the categories children, youth and junior.

A lot of participation, with the presence of young windsurfers from Ciudad Real, Toledo and Guadalajara and also as guests, from the Community of Madrid, with these final results:
