The second day of the professional meeting Navalia Meeting was moved to the Museum do Mar de Galicia to celebrate the constitution of the Executive Committee of the eighth edition of the Vigués event. The International Fair of the Naval Industry of Vigo will open from 24 to 26 May 2022. The presentation and constitution of the Executive Committee was attended by the President of the Xunta de Galicia, who previously held a private meeting with all its members in order to learn first hand about the progress and organization of Navalia 2022.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, president of the Xunta, has influenced that events such as Navalia are an important window to show to the world the potential of the Galician naval, whose provisional data from the third trimester indicate that the order portfolio will rise to 17 ships worth 750 million euros; as well as the industry's ability to undertake projects of high added value and great technical complexity. Not in vain, 10% of two oceanographic vessels executed in the last five years were in Galicia.

The eighth edition of the International Naval Industry Fair will be held from 24 to 26 May 2022 at IFEX. At this time the occupation of pavilions 1 and 2 of the Feral Institute of Vigo is almost complete (it is over 18,000 m2) and the commercial department works in the marketing of pavilion 4, which adds up to a further 5,200 m2... there are exhibitors from: Greece, Norway, France, Germany, Finland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Iceland, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, Sweden, Russia, the United States, Canada, Argentina and Mexico.
