The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante this morning has welcomed the presentation of the First Trip to Remo Alicante - Tabarca - Alicante that will be held on Saturday. The test is a real challenge for athletes and is an unpublished challenge, which has never been held in Alicante.

The journey to Tembra, with a return to Alicante, is a real challenge for any remer and the organizers seek to establish the test and to be included in the calendar of races of the Spanish Federation of Remo. This first edition will have a non-competitive character and will participate in it remers of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante that will become true pioneers of an unpublished competition to date in Spain.
In this First Trip to Remo Alicante-Tabarca-Alicante will participate 23 remers, with 8 support coaches, along with a flaw of the Association Rema Vida with 12 rems. The departure is scheduled at 7.00 hours from the facilities of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante and the distance to travel is 39 kilometres, although with the tides and surrounding the island they will reach a total of about 47 kilometres.
The participating remers will make the tour on different boats, double and four sea rooms, with the full support of zodiacs and RCRA coaches. The Rema Vida Association, with its rowing team created for the fight against breast cancer, has also joined this challenge and will make the tour, but with exit from Santa Pola.
