After five weekends of competition with many races in the waters of the Abra del VIII Trofeo El Correo, organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, the absolute winners and the most regular crews in the different classes were met.
The Kiwi of Félix Moneo noted the class J80; the Akelarre of Mauricio Guibert won in the Regata class; the Bacilon of José Miguel Franco in the Cruise class I; and the Kohen of Juan Carlos Estefanía was the best in Cruise II.
The Kiwi had a good advantage before the final day between the J80 and took as expected the absolute victory... its regularity has made it a great dominator of this test by finally ending with 13 points and a win in the course that closed the championship... behind it were the Hib Brut of Juan Mocoroa, already with 32 points, being the third place for the Wilco of Diego Guardamino (49 points).
On the other hand, the Akelarre first finished with 7 points in the final general of the Regata Class, with the Gaitero of Juan Valdivia - winner of the last 13 million tour - in the second position (13 points) and the Alpega of Alfonso Churruca in the third (17 points)... the Bacilon was imposed on the last 8-mile tour in Cruciero I and left for him the duel with the Nexus of Javier Trueba, second to two points.
Already in Cruise II, the Kohen finished with 6 points, with the Aizian of Pedro Hernández Zayas in second place (11 points) and the Rooster of Miguel Arriola (13 points), winner of the last test and completing the podium of this division.

After the cruise competition, the J80 monotypes completed the second day of the eighth edition of the El Correo Trophy, organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club in the Vizcaina waters.
Three tours were held, the first two with winds of seven to eight knots, and a third with ten knots. The Kiwi of Félix Moneo was the clear dominator in being first in the three trials.
He sold in the first manga ahead of the Mount of Ignacio Real of Asúa and the Hib Brut of Juan Mocoroa. He repeated victory on the second tour, this time with the Hib Brut in the second square and the third Montarto.

It began on Saturday with the two-way dispute in the J80 class and 20-knots north-east winds. After them, the provisional leader is the Kiwi of Félix Moneo, after a first and second place on this inaugural day, with the Freus of Christian Jauregui in the second square at only one point... the Hib Brut of Juan Mocoroa is third and then the Ausart of Ana Arriola, the Biobizz of José Azqueta and the Wilco of Diego Guardamino are classified.
Already among the ships of the Regata class the best was the Akelarre of Mauricio Guibert, after a 17-mile test put forward by the Committee this Sunday in which it took more than five minutes, after the time compensated, to the Maitena of Mikel Emaldi, and in six to the Gaitero of Juan Valdivia, third classified.
Fourth is the Javier-varri Rat Pack, fifth the Javier-Onaindia Symphony and sixth the Carlos-Maidagan Despeinado after the route that was completed with north-east winds... in Cruciero I is leader the Pedro-Hernandez Aizian, with Javier-Trueba-second Nexus, just 42 seconds away, and with Pablo-Toja-third Free Spirit after 11 miles of tour.
The Kohen of Juan Carlos Estefanía is the first in Cruucero II, while the Haize Lore of Javier Gómez de Segura is the second and the Emilu of Lucio Fernández is the third.
