The celebration in Valencia of the world's oldest sports trophy has received strong social and economic support from the main institutional and business organizations of Spain and València. In this sense, the project of the Valencian city also wants to thank the commitments of the large private companies that have committed themselves to sponsoring the event.

But even though Valencia had the equipment's infrastructure and experience, after months of constructive collaboration with the 37 American's Cup rights holders, the parties were unable to align their mutual interests.

The promoters of the Valencian candidacy, Niccolò Porzio di Camporotondo (Founder of H2O Riders Science & Management), Alejandro Fliquete and Carlos de Beltrán (president and manager of the Valencia Nautico respectively) and Antonio Alquezar (partner of Redstone Advisory Partners) have during these months defended the celebration of a new America's Cup with a sustainable economic model and as the repulsive that this region needs to reposition itself among the main tourist destinations of the world. All of this with the firm will to provide Valencia with the opportunity to reactivate the local, regional and national economy through the drive to the nautical industry, tourism, technology and innovation of the event.

Valencia is thus frustrated in its expectations of hosting an event, which had two great advantages over previous editions. On the one hand, having existing maritime infrastructure exponentially increased the cost-effectiveness of the project, as it ruled out the need for large investments. On the other hand, the candidacy focused its efforts on promoting the Legate Plan 2021-2040 for the maritime reactivation of València. In this regard, it based the infrastructure plan in unused spaces and undeveloped areas, being a complement and support to the technological and innovation HUB that is currently being developed in the Navy... the members of the candidacy will continue to work on this project.
