On this occasion the Lanzarote team will be the only canary island representative

This week the third edition of the Spanish League of Sailing - Lotteries and State Bet Trophy begins, and two national events will be held to select the Spanish team that
represent at the Sailing Champions League of 2022.

The third edition will have two events... the first that will take place from 3 to 6 September in El Arenal... in Mallorca... and a second that will be held in the Alicantine town of Calpe from 15 to 17 October. Each event will have its particular classification, but the points obtained in all races will be computed globally, so at the end of the last day of competition in Calpe you will get a general classification of all the participating teams.

The competition model is in fleet, with barlovento-sotavento and round robins, that is all the teams will have the opportunity to compete against all. The crews are changing from boat manga to boat, according to a previous draw, in this way it is sought to reward the best team and not the best ship.

In this edition of 2021 everything is prepared and total of 8 first-level teams will be on the starting line: RCN Valencia, RCN Calpe, RCN Palma de Mallorca, CN Arenal, CN Altea, RCN Torrevieja, RCR de Alicante and the RCN de Arrecife launchers.

The Spanish League of Vela is a new competition organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Vela and with the sponsorship of Lotteries and State Bet, which aims to promote the competitiveness among the country's main nautical clubs to select among them the best teams representing Spain in the Sailing Champions League, which has been the European Sailing League. Whoever is proclaimed champion of the national league will pass directly to the great European final that each year is celebrated in the famous Italian marina villa of Porto Cervo, the rest of the Spanish podium will have the option to browse in the final if they are previously classified in other European eliminations.
