The thirty-sixth edition of the Prince of Asturias Trophy, which was again sponsored by Abanca, was presented at the Crab's Batteries in Monte Real and which jointly organized the Mount Real Club of Yates and the Military Naval School since it was created in 1986, coinciding with the period of castrense formation when it was the Crown of Spain.
