In the hands of the Real Club Astur de Regatas, during the weekend took place in the Bay of San Lorenzo the X Trophy Villa of Gijón de Vela Ligera. The 6 sleeves were held, 3 per day, in a race camp where 80 boats and about 100 regatists were appointed.

In both days the wind blew from the Northeast with an intensity of 12 to 15 knots, although on Sunday, there was a sea of background with a wave formed that would sometimes exceed 2 meters in height.

In Optimist, the Aitor Emezabal donostiarra, rose with the triumph after winning in 4 sleeves and finishing second in the other two tests. The second position was obtained by the local, Gonzalo Jauderes of the Regatas Club of Gijón, the third place was for, Ibai Larrea del Náutico de San Sebastián.

The bilbaíno, from the Abra Maritime, Martin Bueno was the best among the ILCA 6, with two victories in his locker. For its part, Alfonso Jaudenos belonging to the Host Club, repeats the second place achieved in 2019, won a manga and ended in second position two others. Another gijonese, Fernando Alonso, who was the best in two sleeves ended in third position.

In ILCA 4, Paul Emezabal, from the San Sebastián Nautico with a full of six-out-six victories, was untreatable in the race field. The Santanderino Jorge Campos ended in second position, second in the six sleeves. Another doughnut, Mikel Martínez got the third place.

In RS Feva class, Covadonga Fernández and Carmen Simal gave no options to their rivals and with a full of victories they would be the just conquers of the Trophy. The second position was obtained, Marta Suárez and Carmen Menéndez followed by Marta Durán and Eva Martínez, the three couples belonging to the Real Club Astur de Regatas.

Finally, in the Snipe class, which played 4 sleeves, two per day, the couple formed by Francisco Silvela and Carlota Herrero with three first, followed by José Palacio and Alberto Suarez who won a sleeve. Guillermo Marqués and Jorge Fernández with a second and three third in the classification table, closed the honorary posts.
