The Andalusian Ana Moncada and Catalan Ricard Castellví have closed the ILCA Sub21 World Championship in Top10 positions, with a fourth for Moncada in ILCA 6 and an eighth for Castellví in ILCA 7
The Polish city of Gdynia has hosted the World Championship Sub21 of the ILCA classes, in which Spanish athletes have finished with a fourth place of the Malagasy Ana Moncada in ILCA 6 and an eighth of the Catalan Ricard Castellvé in ILCA 7.
The Spanish delegation has been composed of four girls and eight boys, five of whom were classified within the group Oro of the male fleet, ILCA 7, with up to 138 participants, with 57 registered in the female mode, ILCA 6.
In ILCA 6, the world champion Sub21 is the Italian Gioirgia della Valle, accompanied in the podium by the Italian also Chiara Benini and the Cypriot Marilena Makri. The fourth square of the Spanish Ana Moncada responds to good partials, including two podium posts, a first and a third. The next national regatist in the classification has been the regatist of the RCN Gran Canaria Margarita Iess at 12.
The world scepter Sub21 of ILCA 7 has been for the Australian Zachary Littlewood, followed by Italian Matteo Paulon and German Julian Hoffmann. With the honour of being included in the World Top10, Ricard Castellví was the first Spanish in the eighth position, followed by RCN representative La Coruña Roberto Bermudez de Castro, 24th.
