He finished the 57 edition of the Great Day of Sailing, held in the waters of the Club Nàutic de s'Arenal and where the absolute winner was the regatist of the Club Nàutic de s'Arenal, Hugo Rodríguez.
In the category Optimist, the CNA regatist, Hugo Rodríguez, has been the winner tied with the second and third, Tim Lubat of the RCNP and Roberto Aguilar of the CM Benalmádena, respectively. This has been the most difficult class, where until the end we have not met the winner. For its part, Blanca Ferrán of the RCN of Valencia has proclaimed himself as a female winner.
In 420 the winners were Finn Dicke and Ian Walker in male and female category the crew formed by Estela Enríquez, of the Vigo RCN, and Andrea Perelló, of the CNA, are the victors.
For ILCA class 6, the winner is Dani Cardona Balsa, who is the regatist of all classes with the highest positions. The CNA regatist has shown his authority over the four days of race. In the female category, Miriam Sitges of the CMSAP has been the winner. In ILCA 4, the winner was Juan Santos of the CN Altea, while in the female category the winner is Aina Garau of the CNA.
It should be noted that this 57 edition of the Great Day of Sailing has hit record participation and must be held at two weekends, due to the large influx of participants and boats.

On the third day of the GDV three more tests are scheduled for all the youth classes as well as the team race for the Optimist class
After the first day, andn the optimal class, after the first three sleeves, the two most prominent regatists were Tim Lubat, RCNP, and Amalia Coll, CNA, in male and female category respectively.
In the youth classes and more specifically in class 420, the Flethes brothers of the Nautical Club Puerto Sherry led the general, followed by the female crew, composed of Estela Enríquez of the RCN of Vigo and Andrea Perelló of the CNA.
In the class ILCA 4, the group dominated the regatist of the CN Altea, Juan Santos, with three first positions in three sleeves, while in ILCA 6 the first position very conjured between Gaspar Villalonga, the RCN de Pollença, Pedro Conde, the RCNP, and Dani Cardona, of the CNA, where only one point separates them.
At the end of the second day... after the first six sleeves in the Optimist class, and the final ones to define the gold group for Sunday, the general leads the regatist Tim Lubat of the RCNP, followed, to one point, by Hugo Rodriguez of the CNA, while in the female category the regatist Blanca Ferrando of the RCNP, is located leader leaving second to Amalia Coll of the CNA.
In the 420 youth class, the absolute leader is Ian Walker with Finn Dicke of the CNA, after a day with two first positions and a seventh. In the female category, the couple of Estela Enríquez of the RCN of Vigo and Andrea Perelló of the CNA continue as the best.
In class ILCA 6, Dani Cardona, of the CNA went up to the first position making two first in the three sleeves made and extending the margin over the second. Miriam Sitges of the CMSAP was the best female.
In class ILCA 4, the regatist of the CN Altea, Juan Santos, continues to lead the classification after the 6 sleeves, showing a regatta superiority after regatta and obtaining 4 first. In the female category, Aina Garau is a leader in all the sleeves of the top ten in the absolute fleet.

The Nàutic Club of s'Arenal is the stage, from tomorrow, August 26 and until next Sunday, August 29, of the 57 edition of the Great Day of Sailing, which on this occasion has struck the record of participation, both of ships and of Autonomous Communities.
The Majorcan waters will host more than 400 ships in the different classes, to which will be added on the weekend those of cruise, Latin sailing, Snipe, Musto Skiff and other classes that want to join this great day of races.
By communities, Andalusia, Murcia, Valencia, Catalunya, Cantabria, País Vasco, Canarias and Balears will be represented and will have 250 optimist, and more than a hundred ships of the classes Ilca 4 and Ilca 6 and 25 for the class 420.
This 57 edition of the Great Day of Sailing has been divided into two days, due to the influx of regatists, hosting last weekend the optimist races for the smaller and the windsurfing... in this way we have been able to respect the restrictions and the security measures anti-covid in force.
