The dense fog that populated the Ria de Muros and Noia from early hours, caused the Committee of the Regata Mar de Finisterre - Trotusa Sabín, which these days organizes the Royal Nautical Club Portosin, to cancel the long stage to the very finisterran inlet, together with the total absence of wind, the main component for the navigation of the more than 30 cruises that are meeting in the competition that is valid for the Trophy President Xunta of Galicia.

With this premise and after a modification announced by the radio channel of the race, the event was started with an exit from the vicinity of the Nautico, girding to a buoy anchored through the beach of Arnela that was left for starboard, weather buoy also for starboard and arrival. The President Trophy took this tour twice and the Open only once, being 19.14 nautical miles for the first and 9.7 nautical miles for the second.

Urbapaz, from Fran Edreira, from Club Marítimo La Penela, took the lead of the Trophy President Xunta of Galicia, in a brilliant duel with Siradella, from Francisco Gude, from Real de Portosín, and the sailing boat of the Spanish Navy, the Mirfak, patrolled by Diego López, who were second and third, respectively.

In the Open it was made with the tallest step of the box of the podium the Entropy, of Jorge Arán, of Portosín, being second the Atlante, of Ignacio Hermo, also of Portosín, occupying the third square the Squid II, of Francisco Lusquiños, of the Portonovo Nautical Club.
