The Real Club Náutico Portosín has presented its most emblematic race, the Sea of Finisterre-Trofeo Pitusa Sabín, which in this 2021 it has completed its 33 editions going up to the Carrumeiro Chico, at the entrance to the Corcubión era, and its seventh since Dominga Sabín and Jacinto Hernández took over its sponsorship.

This year is remarkable for an increasingly weak President Trophy of the Xunta, in which the strong dish is certainly the Prince of Asturias Trophy that since 1986 they have organized the Mount Real Club of Yayes of Baiona and the Military Naval School of Marin.

After a successful start at the beginning of the century, this trophy largely to the huge economic injection of the late Caixa Galicia, with the fall of José Luis Méndez fell down, for while the races of Baiona and those of Sanxenxo held up the type, the fact is that the Regata Infanta Elena, became a cartoon of what was before.

The Regata Mar de Finisterre - Pitusa Sabín Trophy is disputed on 21 and 22 August, with a participation that will surround the 25 units and a combination of sports tests between coastal tracks and sleeves to the wind, the main milestone being the turn in the famous Faro del Carrumeiro Chico, in the finisterrana inlet.
