The Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja closes one of its most emblematic races, the oldest of which celebrates the Torreviejense club: 57th Cape Roig-7th Astoria Memorial Cup Fernando Pedrera, and does so in compliance with the program of two well-differentiated tests. On the one hand, the traditional coastal race to Cape Roig and on the other a more technical one, with a journey to the wind of the barlovento-sotavento and that has taken place in the afternoon, in which 35 cruises have participated.

The fastest has been the Fandango 300 (CN Portmán) armed by Javier Sabiote. The Archambault 40 RC has been the first to take the line of arrival (13: 46: 36 hours) by investing a time of 1 h. 38 'to complete those 12 miles. He was followed by the Nemox CartagJanuary (RCR Cartagena) with a difference of almost 4 minutes and behind, 7 minutes, the Sopu Dos (RCN Torrevieja) arrived.

After obtaining the compensated times in class ORC 2-3 the podium has been closed with Nemox, followed by Fandango 300 and the local C.A.F. In class 4 Ozu Dos (RCN Torrevieja) has been made with the final triumph, while Tamoa (CN Villa de San Pedro) and the local Fronkonstin have been second and third respectively. As for class 5, the three podium places have been for Brej (RCR Cartagena), Daikoku (CN Marina International) and Brisa (RCN Torrevieja).

With regard to Division 2 A and 2 B, O'MaryLou (CN Marina International) has been first, he has been followed by two ships from the headquarters club: Tumbaito I and Carpe Diem in the first of them. In the second Rosa Serendipia (RCNT), Mr. Fox (CN Campoamor) and Atolon 3 (RCNT) have copped the three drawer squares.

In the afternoon, with this more technical race, it has put to value the ships that compete in the main national races of cruise and that gives rise to the 7th Astoria Cup. After obtaining the compensated times the podium has been configured with two representatives of the Region: Fandango 300 and Nemox and one of the Community: Ozu Two, led by Quique Mena under the crypola of the Torrevieja RCN.
