BullBox was imposed on the Aproaches Trophy of the Gijon Astur of Regats

During the last weekend the second edition of the Aproches Trophy was held, composed of two coastal stages by the Asturian coast. The first test was held on Friday under a round trip between Gijón and Cape Peñas of approximately 22 miles. The BullBox, by Andrés Noguera winner of the II Aproches Trophy of the Royal Astur Club of Regatas. The Wanted, by Ricardo Simal was the best in class II, while the Ita II, by Pedro Guerra won in class III.

On Friday, nothing but the Bullbox of Andrés Noguera arrived before exceeding the time limit, investing a time of 7 hours, 21 minutes and 57 seconds on the tour, a few minutes to exceed its time. The other ships crossed the line of arrival after their time. The culprit, the lack of wind and the deep sea that made navigation virtually impossible.

On Sunday the call of attention was given at 1300h, with a fresh wind from the North of 11 knots of intensity. This time it was a fast race, where the fleet sailed under excellent conditions.

Once again the Bullbox, by Luis Noguera was the fastest in the fleet, followed by the Taxus MedioAmbiente, by Alfredo Flórez just 9 seconds from the BullBox, the third position was for the Orbayu II, by Miguel Ramón.

Ricardo Simal, on board the Wanted, repeated the triumph achieved in the first edition, winning in class II, the University of Oviedo - Grupo Isastur, by Roberto Alvarez- Bucetas ended in second position, followed by the Geiser of the solitaire, Alejandro Cuetos.

In class III, the Ita II, of Pedro Guerra was the best and revalued the triumph achieved last year, the second square was for the Leonidas, by Juan Manuel Quevedo.
