The Basque palist Begoña Lazkano was awarded in Trasona the square of K1 500 female in the Continental Random Rio 2016. Lazkano with a chronic of 1,54,647 finished second to less than 4 tenths of the Galician Teresa Portela, already classified for Rio in K1 200, exceeding for less than 2 tenths the ceuti Isabel Contreras (1,54,779) that had to conform to the bronze. Sara Ouzande was 4th, Ana Varela 5th, Camila Morison 6th, Alicia Heredia 7th, Laura Pedruelo 8th and García 9th.
