On August 5, with the race of classics, prior to the continental meeting, will be given the pistoletazo of departure to the competition that has the sponsorship of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Xacobeo, and the Diputación de Pontevedra, as well as the collaboration of companies that support the centenary Viguesa society in all the events that it organizes throughout the year (Coca Cola, Gadis and Frutas Sol)

It was presented at the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo in the pants of the marina, the Snipe Class South European Championship, which will take place from 6 to 8 August.

The event, with the inscriptions still open, hopes to approach the 100 units and at the time of the presentation it doubled the list of registered editions of the last decade, including that of Gijón 2014, the last time a Spanish port city received this international competition.

The South European Championship is Open and the Nautical has made every effort to make this event a party, inside and outside the sea to honor the 80 anniversary of the creation of the country's number 1 fleet, that of the Nautic (1941). Thus, family members of the participants, club partners and guests will be able to attend the village in the vicinity of the club to a wide programme of activities that includes concerts and gastronomic events by the hand of several prestigious firms.
