The Spanish crew formed by María Bover and Fernando Rodríguez (RCN Palma-CN Arenal) has completed in eighth position the Junior European Championship of 470 in a mixed category, being the best Spanish in the championship played from July 11 to 18 in the famous Italian town of Sanremo.

He went from less to more, qualifying for the Medal Race, where they made a second meritorious position. The victory was for the Italians Marco Grandoni-Alessandra Bussini, followed by the Israelites Tal Sade / Noa Lasry and completed the podium the French Matisse Pacaud / Lucie De Gennes.

The other two 470 Spaniards in competition were the Canary Islands of Patricia Reino / Pablo García (RCN Gran Canaria), tenth third and the Catalan of Nacho Dávil- María González (CN El Balís), twenty-eighth. A total of 47 ships of 15 nationalities participated.
