The waters that will host the races from next July 25 have received Spanish athletes with little wind and heat, conditions that have allowed for a first smooth approach

The entire Spanish Olympic team has performed its first training in the waters of the country, taking the pulse to a bay of Enoshima that has received them with little wind and heat on this first day of the sea.

After the first days of their stay in Japan in the city of Zushi, the 15 regatists of the Spanish Olympic sailing team are already housed in the Olympic Villa of Enoshima, subheadquarters of the Tokyo Olympic Games, and enter fully into Games mode after their first day of training at sea.

Heat and moisture are among the first acclimatization objectives, as they cause excessive sweating that makes hydration a fundamental task for athletes. Carmen Vaz, a medical officer of the Spanish Federation's multidisciplinary team, monitors each regatist to ensure that their physical conditions are not diminished by this cause and that they are marked by strict patterns of hydration.
