The Bat Windsurfer, Alex López

The bat regatist Alex López of the Nautico del Mar Menor has been proclaimed only 16 years old, champion of the national absolute ranking of Funboard in the Slalom mode. This is the first time that a junior regatist has proclaimed himself the champion of absolute Spain, published by the Spanish Association of Funboard.

The national circuit of Funboard-Slalom has counted in 2021 with two tests, one held at the GEN Roses (Girona) and the other at Club Náutico Mar Menor in Los Alcázares (Murcia).

After Alex López, the second position of the national ranking has been for Nico Forés of the Royal Nautical Club of Tarragona and the third for Fernando Calvo of the Valmayor Regatas Club. They have scored a total of 46 windsurfers.
