The crew of the Biobizz Getxo of José Azqueta, the absolute sub-champion in Denmark, that of the Fhimasa School of Vela José Luis of Ugarte, again young and eighth in the general; and Carmen Arbaiza, who was female champion with the Decoexsa, were protagonists.

José Azqueta and his crew of the Biobizz Getxo were proclaimed absolute world subchampions of the J80 class in Denmark, that of the 'Fhimasa Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte' patroniada by Tomás Trueba again took off as the first youth and eighth in the general, and the regatist Carmen Arbaiza was also the winner within the crew that finished first in the female category ('Decoexsa').
